I can totally relate to the “Creepy Beret Poser Artist Guy” from my life model days!! I was always referred to as “the model”, never by my name. I even was asked to wear this hideous silver cap while holding a tiny version of a cadillac.

So cool. A friend and I have been bandying back and forth about your comics and art all night. This one I can relate to from the artist’s side. Uh… not that I was ever the creepy beret person. It’s just your drawings are so lively and fun but have just enough specificity to make the moment real… I can almost smell the art students!
I’ve actually considered being a life model (I have curves and wouldn’t mind seeing what they would look like in a drawing), but this is what I would worry about… creepy creeps.
as a male nude model, I never ran into any of that, (I was told to put a robe on before looking at any of the drawings tho) That and most of the class were female.
