Keep it forever! The more of us do it, the less pressure our culture at large will exert on us to do anything different!

Just be sure you’re also tolerant of people who have hair and clothes unlike yours, even if they look like Barbie and your first instinct is to barf.

I’m exactly the same. Whenever I go out drinking I wear jeans and a tshirt and trainers. My boyfriend has never had an issue with what I wear. I tried heels once but it just freaked him out

i dont think i would ever be able to cut my hair that short-i heart my tresses. but the simple clothes i get. i have no fashion sense, spending that much moneys seems obscene and i would rather buy a parrot anyway, and i am okay with that.

I’ve actually had friends get MAD at me for shaving my head. Actually I’ve even had some offer to pay for me to get a haircut instead of buzzing it, lol. I figure; just do what makes you comfortable. I’d rather have the 500 cups of Ramen or a few video games instead of a pair of jeans that I can get for 1/8th the price at Costco, lol.

That’s a butt load of ramen :P Sometimes I wanna look expensive, sometimes I wanna slum. We should all follow our own star. People are going to say things, but that’s their own insecurities being expressed.

Duuude, i totally know how you feel. Lately, ive been feeling like my wardrobe of band shirts and jeans isnt going to cut it much longer. My parents are always giving me shit about what i wear, saying i need to dress “my age(25)”. But i cant help it if that is what i feel comfortable wearing. Besides, i have to “dress up” when i go to work so i want to wear what i want on my own time.

“Fashion is the only form of creative expression so inherently terrible it has to be reinvented every six months” as some clever-man said. Possibly Oscar Wilde.

If I’ve learned one thing about styling in my long life, it’s that dressing (and hairstyling) comfortably just means less stress. That’s all there really is to it.
