There is something inexplicably satisfying about that noise, isn’t there? It’s such a nice, full, rounded sound, with just an edge of violence to it. Like rough sex, in a way.
…On the other hand, I could be totally full of shit. xD Take as you find.
My grandparents had a pool table in their basement when I was young… we weren’t allowed to pay with the cues, but me, my brother and my cousins would zing the balls across the table as fast as we could. I too love that sound.
For the record, I’m actually a good pool player now, but it took my parents getting their own table when I was about 12.
Pool is one of my favorite games, even though I am not to great at it, and a good chunk of the reason why is because of the sound of the balls hitting each other and the feel of a pool cue in my hand

Finally! Someone made a comic about that sound! I’ve loved it forever, but couldn’t draw my way out of a day-old’s art contest.
I bet you like it because balls touching = gayness.
Well, someone had to say it eVENtually.
