This is so BEAUTIFUL. It really is. I don’t even know why, but I love it.
My most memorable fire experience:
I was living by the beach in San Francisco. I smelled smoke, went outside and saw the sky sharply bisected: west blue, east brown.
That was the Oakland Hills Fire of 1991.
