Ralf, not reeeeally. I don’t really do much she approves of.
And, er, just a little clarification: I didn’t ‘grow out of it’, I just fell in love with a man /:) I’m still queer.

so then i guess that makes you Homoflexible? (as opposed to Heteroflexible)
meaning you gay but with hetero leanings

Ah yes… the “assuming it’s a phase” phase. I’m glad my mom grew out of that one!

heh, my mom came out for me:
Me: “I like boys mom”
Mom: “Yeah but you like girls too right?”
Me: “Well, yeah.”
Mom: “Took you long enough to figure that one out hun”
Me: “…Love you too mom”
I lucked out with my parents. It was my older brother who thought I was rebelling and going through a phase. Ahhh memories.

My parents have never really cared who or what I’m dating as long as I’m happy. I have the most awesome parents EVER.

I’m homoflexible too! And I identify as queer. Raurie – she’s what she identifies as. She’s not bisexual unless she says she’s bisexual. If she’s like me, she is interested in women with only very rare and special exceptions for certain men. Bisexual people generally are attracted to either gender equally.

Both my mom’s prom dates were gay men. My dad’s mom is bi. I’m perfectly happy straight, but it’s still cool to know that no matter what, honestly, my family would love me and accept whomever I loved because I love them.

@Ten: “Bisexual people generally are attracted to either gender equally.”
Nope. You can call yourself bisexual if you are at all attracted to both sexes, not necessarily equally. See the Klein Sexual Orientation Grid. I’m married to a man but attracted to both sexes, and on the KSOG I see myself as a 3.

Probably better than what my own mom would say if I was gay.
